SAHİL GÜVENLİK BATIĞI SG 121:
Fethiye’deki birkaç dalış merkezinin ve kişisel çabaların sonucunda hurdaya ayrılan SG 121 bordo numaralı sahil güvenlik gemisi 2011 yılında Afkule yakınlarında ki bir noktaya batırılmıştır. İlk yıllarda batık ihtişamlı gövdesiyle 28m. derinlikte karinası üzerinde mükemmel bir şekilde yatıyordu. Ancak takip eden yıllarda akıntı ve dip hareketleriyle ikiye bölünmüş ve bugünlerde basit bir gemi enkazına dönüşmüştür. Köprü üstü ve yaşam mahalleri kaynak yerlerinden koparak çevreye yayılmıştır. Maalesef batık çevresine konan avlanma yasağına kimse uymadığı gibi üzerindeki şamandıra bile çalınmıştır. Şamandıra halatı üzerinden aşağıya inerken tuttuğunuz yere dikkat edin aksi halde kabuklu deniz canlıları elinizi kesebilir. Görüşün iyi olduğu günlerde 8-10 m. lerden baktığınızda batığı görebilirsiniz. Akıntı yoksa batığa yaklaştığınızda halatı bırakarak iskele tarafa geçin ve ilerleyin. Önce enkaz etrafında tam bir tur attıktan sonra güverteye yükselip keşfinize devam edin. Dip zamanınız azalmaya başlayacağından enkazın kıç tarafındaki kayalık bölgeye doğru yönelin, derinlik 20-22m. dir. Karagöz sürüleri ve lahoslar etrafınızda yüzerken aç gözlü cüce balon balıkları bıkmadan sizi takip ederler. Dalışınız sürekli 20 m. ve üzerinde olacağından 25—30 dk lık bir dalıştan sonra dip zamanınız dolacaktır. Emniyet duraklamanızı yaparak dalışınızı sonlandırın.

COAST GUARD WRECK SG 121:
As a result of the efforts of several people and diving centres in Fethiye, the decommissioned coast guard boat registered SG 121 was sunk in 2011 near a point close to Afkule. In the early years, it was lying perfectly on its hull with a complete body at a depth of 28 metres. However, in the following years, it has been broken into two by storms and currents and has now turned into a simple shipwreck. The bridge and living areas are spread across the surrounding area. Unfortunately, no one obeyed the prohibition of hunting around the wreck, and even the buoy on it was stolen. Pay attention to where you hold as you descend down and ascend up the buoy rope, otherwise shellfish may cut your hand. You can see the shipwreck when you look at it from 8-10 metres deep in good visibility. If there is no current, leave the rope as you approach the wreck and go to the port side and proceed. First, take a full turn around the wreck, then ascend to the deck and continue your discovery. A chance to spot the odd nudibranch here or berried anemones. Do not enter any part of the wreck as the steelwork is very sharp. As your bottom time starts to end, head towards the rocky area at the stern of the wreck where the depth is 20-22 metres. The greedy yellow spotted puffers will constantly follow you while schools of double banded bream and groupers swim around you. As your dive will be constantly be 20 m and deeper, your bottom time will be short so after 25—30 minutes of diving. End your dive after making a safety stop Sometimes there are small Scad swimming around the buoy rope.
